Paul Harvey is head of the Zoology Department at the University of Oxford and Secretary of the Zoological Society of London, which runs field conservation programmes around the world, as well as the Institute of Zoology, London Zoo, and Whipsnade Wild Animal Park. An evolutionary biologist with interests in ecology and behaviour, he has pioneered the use of crosstaxonomic analyses to reveal common factors responsible for biological diversity.
